  • Fintech Platform and Risk Assessment Engine Build
    Led the full rebuild of a personal lending platform and machine-learning-driven risk assessment engine

    MYJAR is one of the UK's leading personal finance providers.

    I led a two-year-long program to fully rebuild the CRM and the credit risk assessment and product management systems from a monolith application to a microservice-driven platform.

    I also ran the business operations team and was involved in the full lifecycle of the program, from planning to hiring a team to the iterative rebuild and roll-out of system components, ensuring there's no disruption to the ongoing business and that the main systems stay operational throughout the process, issuing 1,000 loans a day.

    Led a work program to build out a platform for Tourism Ireland across 20 local markets.

    I led a project to plan, build out, and roll out in phases a new platform for Ireland.com. The program involved a full array of disciplines: strategy, creative, content, and engineering with a team of 40. The program required constant communication with Tourism Ireland's 20 local markets to coordinate regional launches.

  • Virgin Media eCommerce and Mobile Operator Offering Roll-out
    Led the plan and phased roll-out of Virgin Media's SAP-based eCommerce and mobile operation infrastructure transformation.

    Virgin Media is the UK's leading fiber-optic broadband and TV operator. I planned, managed, and rolled-out their SAP Commerce Cloud (previously Hybris) based eCommerce offering which sees tens of thousands of transactions a day.

    In addition, Virgin Media has started the process of moving from being a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) to a separate mobile network operator with their own infrastructure. Even though the hardware and software parts of the program were carried out by Huawei and Accenture, I acted as a client-side program manager, managing and bringing multiple vendors together, being ultimately responsible for coordinating the overarching program.

    Led the development and roll-out of the next-generation of the Audi UK platform.

    Building on my success with Volkswagen's platform, I led the development of the next-generation of the Audi UK platform. In addition to the marketing website, the program also included a car configurator, service booking, and finance offer engines build.

  • Unilever Re-platforming
    Led a re-platforming of thousands of Unilever's web properties across over 60 local markets.

    Unilever has undergone a massive re-platforming process, uniting all of their brands' web properties across 60 local markets under a single multi-tiered content, marketing, and product management system.

    The program included extensive planning, was heavily constrained from a timing perspective and involved more than 400 people across three continents. I was responsible for a cross-functional team of 40 people, both internal, as well as the off-shore team and had a significant input in the planning, management, and rolling out of the platform nodes for many of Unilever brands.

  • Volkswagen UK Platform
    Led a transformation of the whole VW UK platform with multiple integrations into the external systems.

    The platform upgrade program for VW UK comprised of a number of projects over a period of 1.5 years. It started with coordinating a full revamp of the website and continued on to the developing the strategy, creating the design, UX, and copywriting and ending in a multi-release build.

    I was part of the project the entire way, managing the build of complex apps that were integrated into VW's own product management and retailer management systems (including live 3D car configurator, test drive booking, service booking, and more).
