Slots Pricing
Identified, designed and led implementation for a new pricing model for healthcare recruitment.
Listening to our sales team, I identified the need for a new, more flexible slot pricing model for HR recruitment advertising.
I designed new flexible pricing and tiers for healthcare HR recruitment. This new offering was delivered with minimal software development needed.
I launched a new model in collaboration with the partners, marketing, sales, and executive teams.
This gained immediate traction with the product, securing 10 - 12 new customers in the first month, with intense interest garnered from many others.
Steps
Invented, designed, and introduced a method for completing effective structured collaboration activities in live groups.
Effective structured collaboration requires a series of group activities that generally progress along the following steps: generate, reduce, clarify, categorize, evaluate, and build commitment. The collaboration platform I managed included tools to support all of these patterns, but required users to assemble them each time they designed a new session. This meant that session leaders needed to be familiar with underlying strategies to lead productive collaborations.
To address this, and help leaders that used our solution, I designed and introduced the concept of Steps. This simple innovation allowed collaboration designers to group together activities within a session to achieve positive outcomes on a repeatable basis. I invented, designed, and introduced a new method for completing effective structured collaboration activities in live groups.
Collaboration Platform
Created, and executed a strategy to rebuild and launch a collaboration platform, supporting up to 1,000 simultaneous users.
The existing product is a collaboration platform built upon knowledge developed from academic research. The product supports live collaboration sessions, often with dozens or hundreds of participants.
The challenge was a chaotic environment with around ten developers, no development process, serious quality issues, and outward facing, non-technical leadership. Once I designed and implemented an Agile Scrum development process, I identified that an updated, more reliable back end solution would be required.
I created a justification, and strategy to address the issue in collaboration with our software architect, and hired an outsourced (India-based) development team to augment the in-house team.
When the new back end was launched, it increased reliability, moved to an industry standard database, and supported up to 1,000 simultaneous users submitting, categorizing, editing, and ordering ideas.
