Project History

  • Kiwibank Notice Saver
Developed an NZ-first saving product—from conception to implementation—exceeding growth and market share expectations.

Leading a team of 50, I delivered a new product to market within three months that exceeded growth expectations during a time of heated competition for consumer deposits in retail banking.

My role was to develop a market strategy, including pricing, fees, positioning, and marketing spend. I also worked on customer research, product design, and definition while working with the project managers for a fully integrated implementation.

  • Warehousing Requirments
With approval from Toyota Motor (Japan), developed a comprehensive business case for a $7.5 million warehouse extension.

Incorporating product, sales, warehousing, inventory, and finance inputs into a forecasting model, I was able to determine the required floor space to support 10+ years of growth for the company.

Working with architects and finance, I created product investment models and combined with the robust space model, justified a $7.5 million capital investment in Toyota New Zealand.

Owing to the relentless focus on details, the approval of this business case was achieved in less than three months, a record in the Australasian region.
