Project History

  • GIS Project Management SaaS
Led the product design and development of Matidor.com, launched this map-based project management platform to 100+ companies.

Matidor.com is a cloud-based project collaboration platform that displays project and geospatial information on an intuitive GIS interface. With Matidor, users can quickly and easily manage data, communicate with team members, and plan projects—all while seeing their progress.

As a co-founder and CTO of the company, I led the design and development of the platform from ground up. Much of my role has been as product owner of Matidor, from assessing the market, talking to customers, and discovering and learning opportunities to turning the learning into actionable requirements for the technical teams as well as managing the development and launch. Matidor has become the new standard of map-based project management in the field services industries, and our customers spent an average of an hour each day on our platform to manage their budgets, tasks, and information.

  • AR/ML-powered Platform for Drivers to Receive Estimates on Car Damages
MVP with both driver mobile and estimator desktop app readiness in three months.

EstPal is a technology company streamlining the vehicle damage estimation between drivers and body shops. When an accident occurs, our mobile app provides an intuitive interface to guide drivers through a step-by-step diagnostic. The results are then processed by EstPal's machine learning engine and our professional screening team before sending to nearby body shops for estimates. For drivers, EstPal saves them time from shopping around and instills confidence in repair pricing. For body shops, EstPal creates a new channel of high-quality leads and reduces time spent on free estimations.

  • Major Telecom Mobile Activation System
Led and launched a $12 million SaaS-based mobile activation system for a major US wireless carrier in two years.

As an enterprise program manager, I was in charge of a $12 million program with a large US wireless carrier to deliver a SaaS-based retail management and phone activation solution. My team grew from 10 to 50 members within six months, during which I had to establish a number of processes which included standard operation handbook, program governance documents, and various communication and reporting tools to allow swift coordination between all stakeholders.

The goal of the project was to improve customer efficiency by 5% and to remove system redundancy involved in phone activation; and after months of sweat and tears, the major phase of the product was successfully launched within the budget (15% gross margin) on target (less than 10% delay) and with an outstanding initial outcome.
